ED Conducts Raids on Premises of Close Aide of Suspended IAS Abhishek Prakash in Bribery Case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted raids on the properties of Nikant Jain, a close aide of suspended IAS officer Abhishek Prakash. Raids were carried out at several locations associated with Nikant Jain in Gomti Nagar, Merath, and Noida simultaneously. The ED has taken significant action against Nikant Jain in connection with allegations of bribery from investors. Abhishek Prakash has also been suspended in the same scandal. Nikant Jain had already been arrested by the STF in this case.
It is worth mentioning that Nikant Jain was arrested by the UP STF on March 20 in a bribery case. He was accused of taking bribes from investors in the name of an IAS officer. A case has been registered at the Gomti Nagar police station, and a 1600-page charge sheet has been filed. Although he was granted bail by the court, he could not be released from jail due to another FIR pending against him.

In a separate development, Hazratganj police station has registered a case against Nikant Jain, his brother Sukant Jain, and Vaishali Jain on a serious complaint by Indian Bank. The branch manager, Ashish Jindal, had filed an FIR accusing the Jain family of fraud and manipulation in a loan of four crore rupees.
